NTB Remains Safe and Conducive, National and International Events Proceed as Scheduled

TRIBUNLOMBOK.COM, MATARAM - The Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Lalu Muhamad Iqbal, affirmed that Lombok, Sumbawa, and the province of NTB as a whole remain in a safe, secure and conducive situation.

Therefore, national as well as international events scheduled throughout 2025 will proceed as planned.

Among the events referred to by the governor are the Pocari Sweat Run 2025, to be held from 13 to 14 September, and the highly anticipated Mandalika MotoGP 2025, which will bring together the world's top riders from 3 to 5 October.

The Provincial Government of NTB, together with all levels of society, is committed to maintaining a conducive environment for both domestic and international visitors coming to the province.

The governor also extended his gratitude to the police, the Indonesian Armed Forces, Tuan Guru and other religious leaders, community leaders, NGOs, youth and student organizations, the provincial government's administrative structure down to the heads of hamlets and neighborhoods, as well as community groups, all of whom have contributed significantly to ensuring security, comfort, and tranquility throughout the province.

He further expressed appreciation to the people of the province for their continued and unwavering support and wisdom in responding to the recent developments.

Earlier in 2025, the province successfully organized a series of national and international events, including the Paragliding Accuracy World Cup (PGAWC) in Lancing, Central Lombok, the Indonesia World Field Archery (IWFA) in Lantis, the Eighth National Community Sports Festival (FORNAS VIII), and the Rinjani Color Run in Sembalun, East Lombok. 

These accomplishments reaffirm the reputation of Lombok and Sumbawa as reliable and capable hosts for diverse audiences at both the national and international levels.

NTB Aman dan Kondusif

Gubernur Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) Lalu Muhamad Iqbal menyatakan bahwa Lombok-Sumbawa dan Provinsi NTB berada dalam situasi aman serta kondusif. 

"Karena itu, kegiatan nasional maupun internasional yang telah dijadwalkan sepanjang tahun 2025 akan tetap berlangsung sesuai jadwal," kata Lalu Muhamad Iqbal, dalam rilisnya, Jumat (5/9/2025). 

Sejumlah kegiatan yang dimaksudkan Gubernur NTB, termasuk di dalamnya kegiatan Pocari Sweat Run 2025 yang akan digelar 13 hingga 14 Sepember serta kegiatan yang banyak ditunggu, MotoGP Mandalika 2025. 

Kegiatan yang akan diikuti pembalap top dunia ini akan digelar 3 hingga 5 Oktober. 

Ia menegaskan, Pemerintah Provinsi NTB bersama seluruh lapisan masyarakat siap menjaga situasi kondusif bagi para wisatawan dalam maupun luar negeri yang berkunjung ke NTB. 

Ia tidak lupa mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pihak kepolisian, TNI, para tuan guru dan pemuka lintas agama, tokoh masyarakat, tokoh adat, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM), organisasi kepemudaan dan mahasiswa, struktur administrasi pemerintah provinsi hingga kepala dusun/lingkungan.
